(2) Any extensions and/or bug-fixes should be shared with the author (Henric Krawczynski krawcz@wuphys.wustl.edu) who will make the improved code available to the public.
(3) The code should not be distributed without the permission of the author.
(4) The code computes the Synchrotron Self-Compton emission based on certain simplifying assumptions. To assure correct results, the user should know these assumptions by studying the code and referring to the publications cited in the code.
Recent Updates:
May 25, 2009:
- Fixed a bug introduced in the last release: the luminosity distance was given cm rather than in m. This bug lead to erroneous fluxes.
August 10, 2008:
- Made EBL model of Franceshini et al. (2008) the default extragalactic absorption model. Reference: Franceschini, Alberto, Rodighiero, Giulia, Vaccari, Mattia, 2008, arXiv0805.1841.
- Included Ned Wright's calculation of the luminosity distance. Reference: Wright, E. L., 2006, PASP, 118, 1711.
June 5, 2008:
- Fixed z-dependence in calculation of Extragalactic Background Light absorption.
March 16, 2007:
- Changed hubble constant H0 from 0.65 to 0.7 (the code still includes only "old" cosmology).
- Changed integration of Inverse Compton Kernel to cope with finer binning. (Thanks to David Paneque and Daniel Mazin for bringing the problem to my attention).
