Development of the PIC servo Board designed by Jim Buckley and Richard Bose
I have constructed and written C programs to the board to control servo motors
Automation of a detector efficiency experiment. I used the PIC board to control
a motor to turn a monochrometer, and interfaced the PIC board and an Ammeter to
Labview. A three hour manual experimental test was reduced to a 30 minute
automated experimental test.
Future projects include automation of the Radio Telescope here by using the PIC
Board. Hardware work at the Tyson Research Center. Development of an image polarimeter
setup that will be used to polarize light from gamma ray sources.
